We received 5 verbals in about a week. Unprecendented, at least for HC

Leads to a good trivia question: How many times has HC had a class with three 1000 point scorers ? ( I believe there has never been four.) Name the classes and the scorers.

I'll take the lay-up, since they are likely freshest in memory.
2003 - Pat Whearty, Brian Wilson & Tim Szatko

With aging, most recent doesn't always mean freshest in memory!

Yeah, ncaam is right in this case...I figure we are talking about 8,000 points scored (around 65 ppg, 30 games per season). Tough to split that few points among 6 guys.

One very good way to score more points is to play more games by, for example, winning the PL Champioship and playing post season. Two years ago we played 35 games. Let's have some fun and say we play 34 games per year, 136 in 4 seasons, and that the team averages 63 or 64 points a game. Now we're up over 8,500 points to split up.
Whether these guys score 4,000 5,000 or 6,000 career points I think it's going to be a very fun class to watch. I believe these six Crusaders will be very productive in total

Gee, and I thought I was the optimist on this board! These guys haven't played a minute of D-1 college basketball yet and we've got them heading to the HOF. While I certainly hope you guys are right, maybe put those purple glasses away until the season starts?

Just trying to have some fun.......not predicting HOF for them all but, again, I think it will be an excellent class
