Received this in an email yesterday. Kudos to those who put this 2 day sequence of events together!
With another school year around the corner, I am excited to invite you to the Holy Cross Basketball Weekend on September 15-16, 2017. We have organized a weekend of events to bring fellow Crusaders from different teams and eras together to kickoff the 2017-18 season.
On Friday, Sept. 15, we will have a day of golf and dinner at the Blackstone National Golf Course. On Saturday, Sept 16., we will give a tour of the new Luth Athletic Complex and you will have an opportunity to watch our team during open gym. Following the tour, we will tailgate and support our football team as they take on New Hampshire. We hope you can join us for one or all of the events. During the weekend, our staff and players will be around to meet alumni and talk about the upcoming season.
I can't stress enough the importance of continuing to connect former Crusaders with our current young men. Your involvement is what makes Holy Cross basketball special. Thank you for your time and effort in supporting Holy Cross basketball.
Sincerely,
Bill Carmody Head Men's Basketball Coach

This is a fantastic program (would some even suggest that this is "marketing"?)--and I should think that the opportunity to take the tour of the Luth Complex would be really appealing.

As part of the Holy Cross football golf outing last month, I was able to take a tour of the Luth Complex conducted by Nate Pine. It was a very interesting experience.

I played in the tournament two years ago. A handful of former players hung around the bar a little later while Togo held court telling a bunch of old time stories. I also hung out and it incredible just sitting listening to Togo.
The golf tournament is a good time and a very worthwhile event if you're local.
For Saturday, I need to figure a way to get Nate to run the Luth tour about 10 minutes later or open the baseball field 10 minutes earlier so I can park with my regular tailgating cronies and run up the hill and catch the tour

For those who were wondering, the 10:00 Luth Tour that is part of the golf package has been moved to 10:30 just like all the "open sign up" tours on football weekends
Thankfully, I can now get my normal parking spot and not be the first to use the new Luth Athletic Complex defibrillator
