Massey has HC as a 5 point favorite (67-62) with a 67% chance forth win. It will be here soon.

Sacred Heart was #301 in Pomeroy for last season and lost its big scorer who transferred to Seton Hall.
Holy Cross was #215 for last season and lost some important seniors but gained some highly promising freshmen.
I like our chances in the season opener

Sacred Heart also has some red shirt players becoming eligible.

HC played at Sacred Heart last year on December 21st.
Why are the men playing again this year at Sacred Heart and not in Worcester?

Why on earth are we playing Sacred Heart at their place again this year. Shades of the scheduling with Fordham football. 2015..... Bronx ....... 2016 Bronx ( Yankee Stadium ) ..... 2017 ..... Bronx Give me a break !!! Did we really want to play that bad in Yankee stadium that we capitulated to that. Fordham game this year should be in Worcester.....
How about Wagner suckering us for a football game there and then a no show in Worcester. And Albany dropping us in football before fulfilling a contracted return game in Worcester ..... Let's wake the heck up on this scheduling. It's killing us.

At the end of a home/home, the sites can be flipped to balance out home games. It will work out in the long run, especially on hoops. In football, however, we have been getting screwed far too often when we lose home games as a result.

Yes.Not sure, what, if any, benefit the College got out of it other than the publicity and the ability to connect the President's Council and other events tied to NYC.

Who got the ticket revenue? Was it eaten up by venue rental charges?

We leave these questions to Phreek. My guess, and pure speculation on my part, is that we'd be lucky to have broken even financially. I think this comes under the heading of "the privilege of playing in Yankee Stadium." I would personally have preferred the game be played at Fitton or play there in a year when the Rams would have given up one of their home games. But I recognize that I am in the minority and so many were thrilled to have the big time experience of playing in Yankee Stadium. However, I am sure that there are zero Crusader fans that were pleased with the play and outcome on the field.

True But our play had nothing to do with the venue

When it comes to scheduling, we roll over and play dead.
