The Holy Cross women’s soccer team fell 1-0 to Boston University in a tough Patriot League battle. Sophomore goalkeeper Caroline Cashion recorded a career-high 14 saves against the Terriers

27 shots with 15 on goal with 14 saves...... current patriot league season record for most stops in game (14) , Cashion had the same record in 2016 with 12 saves against Richmond....
FYI........Holy cross has patriot league record for most games saves with 34 Peg Sullivan, Holy Cross (Providence, 10.17.91)

Yes, a great performance from our goalie in what could have been a lopsided score, but let's be honest, this was just another example of a totally one-sided 'Turnpike Trophy' contest. shots: bu 25 hc 2 shots on goal bu 15 hc 2 corner kicks bu 10 hc 1 Soccer is a crazy game when a game like this can be very close, but it is obvious our team does not have the same level of talent. (and we know that BU offers much more schollie $ to their olympic sports teams)
