Holy Cross dominated play most of the night and took their first PL win 2-0 over Lafayette. The second Cross goal came on a breakaway with a minute left in the game HC is undefeated in the Patriot League (1-0-1) with a tie in 2 overtimes against Navy.
Video stream was excellent. It appeared a bit dark at the field. Were the lights on?
Also, with all that is going o, the images of the armed Crusader around the pitch were nice to see!

The video stream was frozen when I first looked about an hour in, then was off-line, and when I checked late second half, it was back. Wasn't me and didnt appear to be Stadium because the Colgate field hockey and a Mountain West game streamed okay.

Be sure to check out the video highlights on GoHolyCross...nice job by Brian Foley (aka BFoley82 here on Crossports)
From the HC website: WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross men’s soccer team defeated Lafayette, 2-0 on Friday, Sept. 29, in its Patriot League home opener. The Crusaders move to 3-4-2 (1-0-1 PL), while the Leopards move to 1-8-0 (1-1-0 PL). The Crusaders generated offense in the first half, hitting the post on two occasions. The Leopards also had two offensive chances, in which Henry Stutz made two diving saves to keep the score at 0-0. Holy Cross took the lead in the 51st minute when Owen Azrak’s shot to the far post beat Lafayette’s keeper Brad Seeber. Despite a continued offensive pressure, Stutz made three more saves in the second half to solidify his third shutout. In the 89th minute, Mason Brummett scored his first goal of the season, beating the Lafayette defense to open up a clear lane to goal. After Brummett dribbled around the Leopard keeper, he shot to the open goal and secured the Crusader win, 2-0.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS • Stutz recorded his third shutout on the season and his second in three games. • Owen Azrak is the second Crusader to score multiple goals in the 2017 season. • Mason Brummett is the sixth Crusader to tally a goal.
KOOLMAN ON THE GAME
“On both ends of the game we came up big. Henry Stutz came up big defensively. The kids kept fighting but their discipline and passion ultimately led us to victory. A great win in the Patriot League.”

hope the team gains some momentum from this start. we have played two of the weak teams in the PL with Laf (1-8-0) and Navy (2-6-1), and now can go against some of the better teams, starting with BU
