Lost virtually their entire team, including all five starters and all but two subs. Navy at home definitely has a chance. Pomeroy actually has them as a favorite - although I wouldn't go that far. If it weren't for the fact that Pitt has booked one of the easiest OOC schedules in the country, they wouldn't be likely to get to ten wins for the year. One of their key rotation players this year is Monty Boykins, who was a solid player at Lafayette for three seasons but certainly not a star. Edit: I see that one Vegas site has Navy as a 4.5 point favorite. Will actually take bets on that line. Seems high to me.

I will be pleasantly surprised if Army keeps the spread under 10 points. I'll post my impressions of the cadets tomorrow.

If you can believe it, Navy is favored tonight at home against Pittsburgh, per Pomeroy.

Of course as soon as I turn the UConn game on after watching HC postgame, two straight putback dunks. Was hoping to see the Huskies get served some PL humble pie.

Outside the PL, but Albany held off Iona 69-67. Both will be tough opponents.

Tough game for us against Northeastern, but they were a little bit better than us. We might struggle a bit shooting the ball this year, but we look to be pretty long and decent on the the defensive end. We had two freshman start for us in Javante McCoy and Walter Whyte and the early returns were pretty good. Overall, some decently encouraging Patriot League play today with quality showings by Navy, Loyola, Lafayette, Holy Cross, Colgate, and Army. American looks like they will be terrible.

PL just 2-7 last night, but competitive in all but one contest. With an ACC win! Though from the sounds of it, Pitt may end up being as bad as some of the recent squads from BC and Wake Forest that have been cellar dwellers there.

PL just 2-7 last night, but competitive in all but one contest. And not that it was going to affect the outcome, but AU was without Gasperini.
