Harvard still worries me, with all those frontcourt bodies: Lewis, Baker, Egi, Towns, Welch, and any others I am missing. And I'm sure Amaker will remind them of our 3 game winning streak against them. Hope we can confuse them again with our zones.

UMass up 42-41 with about 9 minutes left. They say Lavities is renovated, although it looks the same to me on TV

Harvard wins 70-67.
UMass hit a 3 with 10 secs to tie it. Harvard hits 3 with 1 sec to win it.

We should have installed a video board during the renovations. The replays can show the questionable calls made during the game

That was certainly the case at SHU. But, showing replays while the game was in progress was just a distraction that most people seemed to ignore.

Replays can be played during time outs, not during the game.

We sure better get a body on those guys in the rebounding action Thursday night, or there may be some replays we don't want to see.

They say Lavities is renovated, although it looks the same to me on TV harvardmagazine.com/2016/09/harvard-renovates-allston-basketball-arenaI think the seating is slightly less than before, perhaps a loss of under 200 seats. Before^^^^^^ I think this is looking west, from the east stands. After ^^^^^^ I think this is looking east from the west stands. It appears as if they've installed fixed seats atop the foldout bleacher seats. The new coaches offices may be the windows on the second floor right. I've heard Amaker actually prefers playing in this bandbox of a building, because of the better crowd atmosphere. Sort of like having the Cameron Crazies sections without the rest of Cameron.

I might be in the minority here, but these "hype" videos that the athletic office is pushing out are pretty poorly done.
It's not so much about the execution (even though I think it's poorly edited and comes off as gimmicky), but I really don't think many HC fans care for something like this. I would much rather have an interview with Carmody and Karl Charles or Pat Benzan previewing Harvard, than a Jehyve Floyd dunk video in a dark gym. Despite Pine clearly spending more money to elevate HC's social and multimedia capabilities, we are falling short in this department. We only hear from Carmody in his 90 second interviews following games.
By the way, if you are going to produce a video like this, at least put the game date and time in the end card.

Very good sophomore class for Harvard. Their "twin towers" of Baker and Welch are projects but will develop. You can't teach height, but some big men need to learn how to best utilize their gift.
