HC 18 for 27 from the free throw line--percentage is so-so but I love that we were able to get to the line

Austin Butler--man of the match Among other things, leads the team in floor burns - classic foxhole guy.

I don't care if this was the worst opponent in North America-- I am very happy about this win Austin Butler--man of the match Do not fret...someone, most assuredly, will opine on this. Good to break the ice in the PL. Cheers.

Carmody notes in post-game that "something clicked" with the Benzan-Butler-Grandison combo in 2nd half - agreed, let's see more of them.

The most difficult thing when young teams are losing is to learn how to win. Key contributions from many.

Let's not forget about Zignorski, who was on the floor for that run. His lefty lay-in was a critical basket to extend the lead back to three.

Nice game.
Players starting to figure out their roles and Carmody starting to figure out the most effective combos.
We got a few nice rebounds.
JF continues to play strong.

Defensive rebounding better again - averaging 70%+ last three games, closer to 80% tonight. Encouraging.

Really happy for the team. As bad as we needed it, they must have NEEDED it.

Grandy’s rebounds were important, esp when JF was on the bench

Bucknell and Lafayette in OT. Bison board a little apoplectic. Lafayette outrebounding at both ends - yikes.

Watched the game on PLN. Alabama-Georgia could wait. Much to like about tonight's win especially the no quit attitude. Actually saw guys box out and the 27 free throws was really nice to see. Butler is the closest thing to Curry in the last 15 years with the possible exception of Andrew Keister. Another thing that was nice to see was the enthusiasm of the bench. It was a good night to be a Crusader.

Butler a throw back to Big East 1980s; absolutely love the hustle.
Benzan with 9 rebounds as PG.
Grandison can put the biscuit in the basket. See him averaging 20 pts as a Jr and Senior

Nice to see them come back after being down to start the second half, something they have been unable to do. We have a young team starting to put the pieces together.

Another wrinkle tonight - seems we pressured them bringing the ball up a number of times, occasionally trapped. Didn't necessarily cause a lot of TOs, but bothered Loyola, maybe got them out of rhythm.

Bucknell survives in OT, 80-75. Lafayette had 15-13 edge on O-boards, 34-33 advantage on the defensive end. Must be years since the Leopards got that many offensive rebounds in a game.

HC was down 24-34 if I recall correctly, so a Crusaders outscored Loyola 40-23 to close the game

Turned off down 10 at the start of the 2nd half when things were looking awful to just watch the football game.
Quite surprised to see the final result. Glad we won’t go winless in the PL!
