Very good win for the Crusaders on the road! Hopefully we can go on a home hot streak and take out the Leopards and Mountainhawks!  !
We have a new leader, as bigfan has overtaken Sons of Vaval! But, it still a very tight race and we're only at the half way mark!
Congrats to A Clock Tower Purple, the only one to pick Loyola over Lehigh! !

With homecoming, HC may have changed the time, so I've changed it as well in the original post...

Holy Cross-- Crusaders lost at Lafayette in 1st game as HC went 2/24 on threes, worst 3 point shooting since a 2012 game versus Providence College. HC has done better on O-Boards in last two games--anomalies or an increased effort?? JF played 25 minutes in 1st game with 4 PF, going 5/6 and taking no free throws. He's getting the ball more of late and committing fewer fouls--like his chances to have a big game and lead us to win.
Colgate- Colgate won by 9 at American in first game. Colgate has won three in a row over better teams than AU.
Army-- Army won first game by 11. Army is 12-3 when opponents shoot 55% or lower and Loyola is shooting 50% in PL games. Loy defense is #10 in PL play in defending the three, Army's principal weapon. Loyola commits tons of fouls--Army went 20/27 from the line in game 1.
Navy- This seemed like the toughest one to pick (watch me go 2 for 5...). Navy won the first one by 12. Navy is 11-1 when shooting 51% or better , 2-8 otherwise. Lehigh defense is 52.7% in PL games. Navy is 10-0 when hitting 36% of threes and Lehigh defense is 37.8% there in PL games. Lehigh does not get to the foul line. Kyle Leufroy lost his starter job and is playing a lot fewer minutes, whether due to injuries or poor play we don't know. Marques Wilson, freshman, has taken his place and has been playing very well.
Bucknell- Pencil Bucknell in as the choice for all future PL games. Bison lost by 5 at home to BU as Nana Foulland lived up to his name, fouling out and playing only 18 minutes. He has not fouled out since that game and we can expect a big effort from him. Of course, Zach Thomas will take a dozen free throws and have his usual overall strong game. Bucknell's defense is vastly superior to the PL's second ranking defense--BU. In PL play Bucknell is holding opponents to 44% eff fg pctg.
