This is a very positive development. The J.D. Power name is well known--at least to anyone who watches TV commercials and sees the many companies who reference the company--and HC's association with JD Power will enhance the image of the school.

First item of business, English composition. In the mantra of the dear nuns, 'Repetition is the mother of all learning'. That, and split infinitives. And how exactly will this value be 'articulated'?
C'mon.

This is good stuff and Mr. Powers and his family are to commended. I took a look at the foundation's 990. It had about $20 million two years ago. This is a substantial gift. It also helps the kid who wants to come and major in history, English or Sociology convince her parents that an HC degree can lead to a job in business.

Exactly what we like to tell the current students at our Insurance Professionals Affinity group like we did this past Saturday.

I notice that the J.D. Power Center for Liberal Arts in the World now has it's own Twitter account, and seems to have become the home of the New York and Washington Semester programs, among other things.

C'mon. Obviously not forgetting the exception to the split infinitive rule: It is grammatically correct to use the phrase "to boldly go"

And smartphone English at that!
