Time for a change. Someone said that was Fr Boroughs first game. Was that a message?

Heard from a good source what happened. Unfortunate and petty violation with huge potential punishment exposure. Can’t blame administrators, it’s all on the players. Confusing “petty violation with huge potential punishment exposure” petty vs huge punishment ??

81 you are a die hard. A better fan we don’t have. You are only repeating what the miscreants admitted to. There’s an investigation to continue. We don’t know how that will turn out. Go cross go!

I stand by my source. And yes, hoops; if I'm correct, a huge exposure for what I consider a petty violation. I don't want to say more.

Bringbackcaro- you obviously do not know the story. I’m pretty confident of my source. You don’t know what you are talking about. What else is new? Hate seeing him, Indianhoop and/or HC70 quoted. Undercuts the sanity saving benefit of having them all on ignore.

What was the administration supposed to be doing when someone gets caught doing what Cohen did last year and then others get caught with what they did this year? Pardon my ignorance, but exactly what did the others do?

Carmody's probably done....seems like a good guy/coach, just not the time and place for him here. Pine may well be right behind him.

Play for coach Carmody——Caro considers that to be a crime I believe he’s referring to those suspended for the NCAA violations. When was the last time we had a player kicked off the team prior to last year? When was the last time we had multiple players suspended for potential NCAA violations? Regardless of how harmless the violation may be. I wonder what will happen in year 4! Only half joking.

Pardon my ignorance, but exactly what did the others do? Broke NCAA rules. Whether it was taking money from an agent, selling signed jerseys for free tattoos, running a sports book out of the basement of Healy, or even a "silly" rule like Super Bowl squares, it doesn't really matter. When 3 guys are suspended and the program is in a tailspin, there are serious questions that need to be addressed.

No names necessary- but does anyone know at this point if the matter extends beyond the 1, 2 or 3 basketball players?

They wouldn't necessarily say anything about anyone who wasn't scheduled to play last night...as far as I know there was mens and womens hoops and the womens team had everyone.

Watched the game via PLN.
Bad in every direction, including this latest issue.
Was I the only one who thought this game had the air of the Yale football game about it?

I originally said this team would be lucky to get 10 wins with this roster. ADNP won't make a coaching change based on how bad we are on the court. Only way CBC goes is if he knew about any of this gambling which it sounds like he did not at all. Just ride it out and allow these kids to get experience and just write off the 2017-2018 season. Next year will be very important for him.

I believe the CBC era at HC is in jeopardy. He can, I believe, survive a super bowl pool “scandal.” Anything more than that is problematic because HC values reputation more than wins and losses. This event is at least embarrassing. If there is more, and I have no inside baseball on this, watch out. I know fr b is not a big bball fan. But the game last night had the odor of Yale football though dechellis did not pump the brakes.

I've sat mid bleachers behind the HC bench a couple times. You can't hear what Carmody is saying there, never mind across the court. So I doubt he was there doing research.

Ncaam makes sense here (can't believe I'm saying that). I'd also have to add that whatever happened with Cohen (I have no clue) could be in the back of TPTB's collective minds too.
