Katie Quinn committed to HC yesterday. She's from Holden and played at Wachusett. She's also the daughter of golfer Fran Quinn. Wish HC could have gotten his son Owen (at Lehigh) to play on the golf team.

does the golf team have any space in the Luth? Not sure whether the golf team has space at the Luth or not. However, I was told an alum donated the most expensive golf simulator you can get and that it's set up in the "field house." I put the air quotes around field house because my friend that told me may have been talking about the Luth and not the field house.

That would be a big help with attracting golfers

A few of us old guys walked around the Luth after the American hoop game. The turf field had a few things going on - one of which was some golfers chipping off mats. There's certainly enough length and height there to do some fairly "real-swing" work on one's short game.

does the golf team have any space in the Luth? The golf team has no space in the Luth, though the coach has an office. Supposedly, the proposed new locker rooms down by Fitton would have locker rooms for golf, tennis, softball, baseball, and visitor's football. Some of these clearly would be for storing stuff, and not locker rooms in the true sense. Rowing would be the only sport not to have locker rooms on campus.
