Given the tweet from Vanderbilt athletics, safe to assume he's been awarded a scholarship? Would assume so... I don't think it would make sense for either side if that wasn't the case. Truly interested to see how he performs at that level... I've always thought the biggest gap between FCS and FBS is the maturity of players between 18-20 years old. Subjectively, I believe the gap (between solid, starting players) closes quickly from 20-22, and coaching plays a larger role.

You can watch Alim on tv tmro at Notre Dame (quite a contrast to Fitton Field !). He has stepped in and shown he belongs. So far has 9 tackles for Vandy (2-0) and is listed as a backup cornerback on their 2-deep
