Love that photo of a packed house- is that the Hart Center or Centrum?

Centrum opened in '82 so it's not there.

Looks like a lefty in that photo, which he wasn't. Wonder who #11 was on BC before the infamous Jim Sweeney (who that doesn't look like, although I guess there's a chance it's him).
Game could be the one between BC and HC that was in Springfield in the ECAC finals. Or at Hart in 1975-6 or 1976-7. First two years in Doran's career home game would have been at the Aud, and that's clearly not the Aud!

I'm thinking Hart.
You can see a rail with three rows (the chair backs) and then another rail - and all fans after that 2nd rail are significantly higher than the fans in the chairbacks

I'd bet the house it's the Hart. I think Tom nailed it with the observation on the railings. Looks like a typical SRO crowd from the mid to late 70's in the Hart Center. The people in front of the 2nd railing appear to be standing in front of the fans in the upper section. Love the Cons. BC was wearing the more upscale like model and HC looks like they have classic Chuck Taylor's on.

Interesting observation. My managerial years the team wore a suede navy blue (because purple ones didn't exist at the time) followed by a white leather my senior year. Believe they were both Cons. They had Chucks for practice. Surprised the photo seems to indicate that they went back to Chucks for games...the support in those sucked, better get your ankles taped or else.

Although the high top (which, as someone with terrible ankles, I swore by) seem to have become obsolete

Yes it has! Wore Reebok DMX for years and unfortunately got plantar fasciitis in left foot! ! Just purchased a pair of Brooks - Beast 18 and the pain is almost gone! ! The most I've ever paid for footwear but well worth it!!! !
