This is what I was talking about when discussing how the 2019 NERR rankings would change once all the transfers and postgrads were added to the list.

Just playing AAU at a decent level apparently isn't enough for these guys...and most of them won't even end up in D1...we had two kids in my town who went the prep school route and play/played D3....they could have done that playing public high s hopl

EVERYONE and their mother preps now and many re-classify to gain that extra year. Big reason why the CHSAA (Catholic HS league in NYC) isn't quite what it used to be. Stinks because there is no greater STAGE at the high school level than representing your neighborhood school, be it Catholic or public, in a regional, city or state playoff format. But it's easier on the college scouts to have all the potential prospects in one place so they head up to empty gyms in the Connecticut hinterlands instead...

This kind of atmosphere might be found in a NEPSAC rink but not on a basketball court. I love traditional HS hoops.

The 2 best senior players in the CHSAA, one is the best guard in the US, have transferred to Oak Hill in Va.
