Looking forward to seeing that sort of block often (but to HC teammates) in the coming season.

Not nearly as thunderous as the one sports center used, but my favorite was one that he quietly tipped straight up in the air and caught himself

No, I meant block to teammates...as opposed to opposition or oob. Later in the season JF seemed be doing that rather that just swatting it oob.

IMHO, he is following in the footsteps of the great Bill Russel. Too bad the NBA did not keep block (or steal) stats in the heyday of Bill Russell and the great Wilt Chamberlain. Did they average 4 or 5 a game?

Sounds about right, but when I watched them, it seemed like Russell was getting a block on almost every third or fourth possession.

I didn't know that blocking shots got players so dirty that they needed to be washed.

I hate spellcheck. Mine seems to change what I rite and to give me the wrong word...but at least it is spelled correctly. PS: If players do not need to be "washed" then why so many complaints about a lack of hot water in the old showers?
