I suspect that Coach Chesney has a similar mindset:
“I don’t think I’ve gotten to this point in my career by playing scared,” Moorhead said. “We walked into Fordham and talked about winning a championship, and we did. We walked into the first offensive meeting at Penn State and talked about being the best offense in the Big Ten and winning a championship, and we did.
“Scared money doesn’t make money. If the head coach doesn’t believe it — and attitude reflects leadership — then the players aren’t gonna believe it. If I didn’t come talking about winning championships, that that was my belief, then I should’ve stayed at Penn State.”
