People are killing me on the misinformation. Here’s what we know. He had 4 MAC offers and an HC offer before this summer. He was injured on May 11. He returned to play May 26. He finished out the summer in July playing against a very high level of comp in Vegas and apparently played very well. He took his first official visit of the Fall to HC and committed while he was there. All this other stuff about long-term injury concerns and having no other offers seems completely made up. If anyone has any other facts, please post them. If not, let’s welcome Drew to HC and move on.

Welcome, Drew. You will learn that HC paranoia is well intentioned. Please do not take it too seriously.

The Green-Lowder point guard combo has the potential to be our best since Jave—Torey

Hey 92 the optimists are going to say Lowder still had 4 MAC offers, no injury concerns, and fell in love with HC and committed without pursuing other opportunities, the pessimists will say the MAC offers were gone and he committed to the first D-1 school that gave him an offer. Doesn't matter at this point how many offers he did or didn't have he's here now and we all welcome him aboard and hope he has a great career.

Some of this may have been shown already, but his quickness never gets old. Double changes of direction at full speed vs quick defenders. From coach Metzendorf’s twitter page

Thanks....awful small kid....hope he's lightning quick Tough for us to get kids that skilled when they’re 6’5”. Some sites list Lowder as 6’0”. I think we’ll be very happy with Lowder. We might even get lucky with a late growth spurt.

Even in D-I basketball, especially mid-major, don't think 5'11" qualifies as "awful small".

Depends on whether or not he's already been in the elongator.

LOL I haven't heard that one in a while. Have you toured the Luth? Do you remember that one small room that was excluded from the tour? "Uh, uh, it's just for storage..." Sure....
