This thread also reminded me of the curious case of Patrick Strzala who may or may not have been a verbal commit to HC for a period of time. Reportedly had offers from places like Cincinnati and Seton Hall. Went to Manhattan for a year where he played 8 MPG as a Frosh. Played the next year at Mineral Area Junior College. Then went to D2 St. Leo’s in Florida this past season where he reportedly left the team for personal reasons. Would have fit in nicely with the other miscreants from that era! |
