Dartmouth is a good team should compete in the Ivy again this year. Impressed with the job Teevens does with the program.

Going 3 quarters without being able to produce a 1st down is like showing up to a desk job and not being able to turn a computer on.

Kick it deep at this point and go home. Another onside kick proves nothing, in fact gives away something you might want to do later in the season.
(edit) They saw it my way

Tired of the radio announcers saying they played a full 60 minutes. That’s like saying your army got obliterated by the enemy but showed up.

Bell, Ayeni, Dorsey, and Gilliam combined for 11 receptions for 59 yards..... DeNicola caught no passes

Dartmouth looked very good....I'd be surprised if they aren't in the mix for the Ancient VIII title this season.
We are very much a work in progress....

I knew Dartmouth had size, but I was not aware their big men had such speed. That is an impressive combination. I see them taking the Ivy title this year.
Yes, HC is a work in progress. i was impressed that Wade kept his head late in the game. However, that last int was from him throwing a straight ball (no arc) hard - but right to a Dartmouth defensive back.
Well, lets see if HC can get their first league win and boost their PL record to 1-1 next week against Bucknell.

I have seen our offensive play calling and overall strategy as a major cause for concern through 3 games.

We have played 4 very solid, established programs this season. I think a lot of people are putting the cart before the horse.
This is a new staff, with a lot of kids playing for the 1st time this season...to expect much more than a 1-3 start this year is a bit much imo.

The senior defensive backs for Dartmouth were also an excellent group. I feel HC needs to have a dominant game next week. A win could keep some HC hope alive in the PL.

I agree we've played some very solid teams but I still don't understand not throwing the ball at all?

At all? I thought Wade threw over 30 times and completed about 20. Of course 5 others went to the Big Green.

This is the worst spread offense ever. Play one of the young QB’s to get them ready for next year, or put Bell back at QB and have him run some.

I have seen our offensive play calling and overall strategy as a major cause for concern through 3 games. The offensive play calling in the first quarter, and for most of the second, has been conservative to a fault. For four straight games. This week, there was no adjustment to the scheme to factor in the loss of Crozier's speed. Is Bruno fast? I don't know. Until late in the game, my impression was that Dartmouth was very comfortable defensively; never out of position, never really challenged. Their coaches, having reviewed three HC games on film, outschemed HC coaches badly. I seriously worried that HC would break Georgetown'a all-time nadir when it came to first downs: one. There are several HC players who will be in position to break all-time records for tackles in a season if this keeps up.

Dartmouth will probably be the best team we play from here on in....watched Harvard last night and they aren't as good as the Indians imo. UNH will be good but they are down from years past it seems. All of the PL games left look to be very winnable....on paper anyway.
Not making excuses for our performance today...we were manhandled for 3 and a half quarters. The lack of offense was/is very troubling...but I think you have to tip your hat to Dartmouth's D. Outside of BC, they were easily the best unit we've played against this year.
