I plan to be there, met 45 last time in Amherst I'm also going to be there.. A UMass friend who has season tickets invited me again this season..Ran into 45 at the Hanger last season..I will record the game to watch it later.... Barring another pothole induced flat tire on I290, I will be there as well. Last year, I had tickets in advance but wimped out because I didn't want to drive to Amherst on a donut

To be honest, given HC's history in New England kind of sad that we had to scrounge our way onto NESN -- still, it is progress no matter the details. Probably just going to get harder. MA went from the traditional 6 D-I schools to 8 starting next year. RI went from three to four. I haven't got a clue how many schools in CT have made the jump to D-I. but I think it's more than the rest of New England combined. More and more schools want the exposure/prestige associated with being D-I. More D-I schools fighting for that exposure

(Merrimack is going to D-1 soon, not sure when.)

Yes, four of the Conn D1s are rather recent...of those four only quinnipiac seems to get any exposure...or, should I say, attempt to get noticed

F Y I - Our schedule shows that Saturday's game vs. Fairly Ridiculous is on NESN+. The UMass schedule (and NESN+ program line-up) shows that Tuesday's game in Amherst will also be broadcast (7:00pm).

While I will be at the FDU game, UMass is a bridge too far, so I guess I better keep my ESPN+ account open a little while longer.

Beats me! I have NESN on my cable. Don't think I have NESN+ but bought ESPN+ for the 2nd Mohegan game. $4.99 a month was cheap (ya know, like compared to $20 for a GA seat at Harvard).

You probably have NESN plus...it's a backup channel, used mostly in the spring when the Sox come up against a Bruins playoff game, that sort of thing.
On Verizon FIOS,NESN is 576 and NESN+ is 578.

Here's the cable system and channel guide from NESN. Find your state and cable provider to find what channel NESN+. Keep in mind if you tune to the NESN+ channel and there's not something being braodcast, you may only see an advertisiment for upcoming games on NESN and typically the audio from what's howing on NESN. nesn.com/nesn-channel-listings/
