Listen folks, I love Coach Chez as much as the rest of 'em, but ol' Natey Pine needs to start earning his paycheck for once and go get Urban Meyer. I mean look at these stats:
186-W & 32-L
3 National Championships
3 Big Ten Titles
2 SEC Titles
I dare someone to tell me he wouldn't be a good fit! I know Bob Chez is the man, but last time I checked he hasn't won a single FBS title. Numbers don't lie.
We should be able to get him for cheap so long as Polar Beverages and Coney Island chip in some endorsement money.
Nate Pine - GO DO YOUR JOB!

Hard to win a single title in a category where you have never coached a single game...no? But don't let reality hold you back. Southernsader, I agree with your colorful assessment of Meyers.

I know this thread was started more from a numerous stand point, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Meyer resume coaching at a lower-profile school. He already resigned from one top job before (Florida) due to health and stress related issues. Definitely could see him going the route of taking over a program where instutional and alumni demands are less so than at OSU or UF. He's a Cincinnati alum, maybe he takes the reigns there one day. Youngstown State already has a history of Ohio legends at head coach (Jim Tressell) and former P5 (Bo Pelini, Nebraska).
More likely in my opinion, he comes back to coaching in 2-3 years at the G5-MAC-FCS level than going to NFL or another flagship program.

Urban Meyer isn't riding a bus on a Wednesday night in November across the sate of Indiana or Ohio... ND is an interesting call by teamer, but not sure they'd want/take his baggage. USC is the most logical destination, IMO.

Urban Meyer will end up at Florida State in 2-3 years.
