HC is now in last place, hard as that may be to believe. Massey has Lehigh as an 11 point favorite (70-59) with an 82% chance for the victory on Wednesday.

Every PL team has had at least four games against LM by now. I wonder if they are able to defend her a little better than our OOC foes? I wonder who is more critical to their team's success, LM for the women or JF for the men? I would say Lauren. She is that good in all phases.

It's not even close.

The offensive production of the backcourt has to be a concern. The top three guards (LaBarbera, Smith, and Morris) are a collective 75-259 (29%) from the field, 37-151 (24%) from three. Opponents won't be nervous about doubling Manis and Swords in light of that ineptness.

Tonight's game could indicate where this team's head is at - a loss is likely but how we play might be more important. We should be competitive unless our spirit has been broken by these two losses to weak teams.

11-10 Lehigh after one qtr - Manis really looks out of sorts - played only 4 minutes - no pts and 2 fouls Labarbera (6) and Smith (4) with our points

22-21 HC with 3:45 left in 2nd - amazing to see Manis basically benched and others playing well, esp Ezemma and LaBarbera

26 all at the half - Swords also playing well - team looked better with Manis on the bench - hard to figure this group (and BG probably thinking the same)

Could it be that when Manis is playing, the others do too much standing around watching, expecting her to do everything, ala Lebron with some of his teams

Tied at the half. A good performance so far on the road. At the risk of looking a gift horse in the mouth, it took me much of the half to get Stadium to come in and then when a player was driving to the basket a Wendy's commercial burst onto the screen. I'll still take it over a paid service some conferences offer.

Yes, the Lebron phenomenon could apply here, but that's where coaching comes in.

I like this wizened pair of announcers. Gray Power! The paucity of fans in the beautiful arena is a bit shocking. Maybe this is not one of the incredibly shrinking number of weeks that classes are actually taking place. Nice to see Avery finding her shooting touch.

Manis channeled JF with that feed to Avery.

Was 41 all after 3. Now 47-45 Lehigh with 6:25 left. Let’s see if we can show some grit and get this W

lost 64-55 - improved play but not enough - need an inspired Manis for 35-40 minutes a game, not 20

As Manis goes, so goes this team (at least through 3 league games) - she's a combined 16 of 45 (.355) from the field and she's not getting to the line, only 5 of 8 where she's been automatic in the past. Is the burden of carrying this team too much ?

Patriot league coaches have three years of film on her. Time for an HC offensive scheme response to their defensive scheme response? Or Lauren could be under the weather to some degree. Or the PL could have evolved past some of our OOC opponents. I don't have that keen of an eye to determine which.
