Loyola, Army and Navy really need to win all three to put us in decent position heading into the second half of PL schedule which is much more difficult with 8 of 10 games against the perceived upper echelon teams.

Hopefully we'll figure out a way to defend the 3 point shot.

Maybe we should dive frantically at their 3 point shooters. Can't hurt, can it?

Loyola doesn't take a lot of threes. But they made 2/3 of their twos in the first game, and they're better than most at getting to the line. We need to be good inside defensively and stay out of foul trouble.

As I recall didn't Kostecka go unconscious with 3s toward the end of that game to bring Loyola back, after we basically had them knocked out cold? I have to think part of their game plan this time (after seeing film of us, as 70 aptly states, "diving frantically" to no avail against wide open 3 point looks) is to get Kostecka open and give him the absolute greenest light possible to beat us single-handedly.
Hope this does not prove prophetic. We really can't drop this game.

Remember the rebounds? HC killed the Greyhounds on the boards and shot their own 3s well in the first match-up at Loyola.

In the article I can just see below the photo, the top line mentions Top reserve Matty O'Connor from Worcester..He was a dear friend of mine who died suddenly and way too early. He was part of the group of guys (mostly his family) that I joined with season tickets in the last season of play in the Auditorium..There were 8 of us in the front row center the night the Hart opened, I'm the only one left....Matt would have loved the style of play HC now runs!
