A more accurate thread.
Here’s to hoping he retires so we aren’t stuck with him due to TPTB’s inability to run an efficient search for a new AD who can fix this mess.

Just hope next year's recruits stay.
Plus Bill Carmody had a great Princeton team that he inherited. Other then that he won one championship at HC with Brown's team. Where is the legendary coach these broadcasters always rave about. 337-310 His Princeton offense is obsolete.

After his first two seasons with Pete Carrill’s team and system, he is 286-304 (.485).
That is an 18.5 season sample size.
AVERAGE.

In the regular season Bill Carmody has 78Patriot League road wins in 3 years. Thats 27 games and four games this year on the road. 8-30 in on the road in the PL. Totals of 0 in 2016 3 in 2017 4 in 2018 1 in 2019

We were further along in Milan Brown's fourth season.

This was supposed to be the year that the rubber hit the road for Cramody’s team. Unfortunately, it looks like the only hint touching the road is the bus chassis as the wheels fall of.
I still think this soph class has chance to accomplish big things in their next 2.5 seasons. A shame that the program was mismanaged to the point where they have no support above or below them.

I do understand that Carmody absolutely won a chip with all MB’s guys minus Charles.

I'm not being myopic or confrontational and am as frustrated as many here are. I just was missing the point. Is it bad that he hasn't won with his own players to this point (answer: YES) or was it amazing that he won a PL championship with players that the previous inept coach couldn't win with (answer: YES). I don't want to paint this rosy. Because it ain't. I just thought it was a funny point s'all. OK, carry on with the tar and feathering guys. I'll take a backseat from here.

My memory is not what it used to be, so someone keep me honest.
In CWC's first regular season of the PL, the team did poorly. Then the tournament came and out of desperation he installed the 1-3-1 defense that was used ineffectively earlier in the season (against OOC foes?). He caught the rest of the PL off guard and ran the table all on the road. The irony, IIRC, was this wasn't even his own idea as I recall he said one of his assistants suggested it. That and getting Eric Green back made the miracle happen. I don't recall who the assistant was who suggested re-trying the 1-3-1 was.
Bottom line seems to be that CWC has run out of ideas in his magic bag of tricks.
I feel badly for the players who seem to be trying as hard as ever.

Princeton offense this, Princeton offense that... the team actually was playing well on offense earlier in the season but have seemed to tail off recently in points scored a bit from the earlier pace.
Either way, CBC could be running the Warriror's offense and putting up 140 points a night, but if the other team shoots over 45% consistently against you, takes 4-5 times the amount of free throws, and rebounds nearly every missed basket at will, you can't win a game.
His best player has been in foul trouble for three years. His perimeter defenders jump like kangaroos towards jump shooters like a third grade CYO team. Coaching is recruiting, coaching is adjusting, coaching is improving. Where have we seen anything regarding these three?
MAKE HC BASKETBALL GREAT AGAIN.

7-13 against PL teams this year, WITH one of the best players in the league.
Time to blow this thing up and bring in a coach who is actually capable of building a top program in his league, something Carmody has never done.

Bring back caro is an average poster and HC fans should hope he retires ( I trust they have better causes to pray for) How can you possibly rectify Bill Carmody’s record against PL teams over the past four seasons? This is not Bring Backs fault.
