Just curious.
There have been a lot of comments/complaints that we are not signing talent to compete in D1 or even within the Patriot League. I have got to believe that the Patriot League schools are crossing paths when we recruit players. Does anyone know a list of players since BC has coached where a player chose another Patriot League School over HC? I know Andrew Kosteka at Loyola has been mentioned that he was planning to go to HC and then with the coaching change decided to go to Loyola. That looks like one who got away.
Are there others?
It would be interesting to analyze where HC may be falling short vs our Patriot League brethren. I am sure reasons could be simple as geography ( a kid doesn't want to play far from home) or academic ( a recruit wants a BS and not a BA) or playing time( other players on the team may not present an opportunity to play right away) but thought it might be interesting to see where our recruiting fell short - or not.
Again some of this may have to do with the impact on recruiting from the unfortunate actions of a few players last year.

I know there is no-one on the HC roster who had a Bucknell offer. Having said that, five of the current HC sophs committed very early.
As for other PL teams, I know Wade had a Lehigh offer, and Hargis had ones from Colgate, American, and Lafayette. Karl Charles, btw, had offers from several PL schools including Bucknell. However his Bucknell offer was an early one from Paulsen and may have been off the table after he tore his ACL. It definitely was off the table after Nate Jones committed in late July between junior and senior year.

Hargis must have really wanted to go to HC if as Bison says he had offers from Colgate, American and Lafayette and rather than taking one of those waited till May when HC offered.
