Massey has HC as a 6 point favorite in Wednesday's game against Navy (61-55) with a 67% chance for the win. In their first match-up, Navy won at home by 7 (54-47). After that win over HC, Navy went on a 5 game losing streak. The Middies broke that streak at home against Colgate (67-52) yesterday.

Let's sink Navy and go 3-0 under our long term substitute teacher.

Demski with strong tip in under the boards. Always room for a 6'3" frosh with touch inside

Navy lands half court Trey at buzzer. With four quarter ending buzzers now in the WBB game, this should be a specialty shot that's practiced.

HC up by two in third quarter. Smith hits two threes. Team playing well but too may turnovers.

Avery takes only her second shot of the game and breaks a 39-39 tie with a three. Low scoring is due to a ton of missed shots by both teams

Truely an ugly game, free throw problems nearly cost them the game, 2/13 from the line. A grinder from start to finish, Manis leads w/ 13/14

Well defended, poorly shot tractor pull of a game. Just like the Superbowl. Coach Mac looking Sharp in a stylish outfit, freshmen contributing, season is on an upward trajectory.

Really ? 2 of 13 from the line on your home court - D.1 basketball ? - calling a sports psychologist - urgent ! Manis still disappoints me - yes, she's a tiger getting rebounds, but 6 of 17 from the field and 1 of 4 from the line, and 4 turnovers - just not the same player she was as a soph.
Can't argue with 3 straight W's under AM - that's ultimately all we care about

Clutch play by Smith finding LaBarbera all alone under the hoop for a layup for what proved to be the winning basket. I can't remember if HC scored after this, but a terrible call with about 3-4 minutes to go- ball went off Ezemma's foot (not a kick) plain as day and they gave the ball to HC.

HC free throws were virtually non-existent today. It looked as all of them had gotten FT coaching from JF. 2 of 13 for just over 15% free throw shooting is awful. Getting a win in a game where we did that is great!

You are right about the sloppiness. Too many passes were thrown a few feet away from the recipient and too many drives resulted in a swing and miss. But Navy's pressure is intense, according to the announcer and Lauren did get crunched early by Taylor who is built like a fullback. The FT shooting should balance out, but they seemed to be forcing it to Lauren while Avery hardly shot and sharpshooter Pedi hardly played after making a bad pass.

Glad to see the team win. Do yourselves a big favor and don't look at the stats. Demski deserves more playing time.
