Keep up doing what you are doing, 45. The rules ("guidelines") have been known for years - total number, not percentage, of winning picks. nd, that's a reason I always try to pick first, right after the choices are posted. Forget for one week and you find yourself very hard to catch up. But, we appreciate the Christian charity that you and DiMarz demonstrated by skipping a week.

Query: Why are Dimarz and I not higher in the standings? We sat out one round just to give every one else a fighting chance. ndgradbuthcfan: This is the way I have always done the stats since starting this, I think 7 or 8 years ago. It is easier to compile stats by grouping those who participate in every round first, then those who missed a round second, etc. Ranking by total number of correct picks would only boost Dimarz and you to 18 and 19 respectively from 21 and 22. Ranking by percentages of correct picks would boost Dimarz and you quite a bit but not within the top 10. Thanks to former assistant coaches Kevin Robinson, Kevin Driscoll and Fromer AD Nate Pine who each year donated Holy Cross gear, prizes were able to be given out to those who ranked highest while participating in every round. Prizes were also given to anybody who may have missed a round but had a percentage of correct picks comparable to the top percentage leaders. In the end, this is all about having some fun during a long winter/basketball season! ! It ain't much but 18 and 19 sounds better than 21 and 22. Did not know about the prizes but it explains why so many do not pick HC every week.

nd, you appear to be correct and I am sure 45 will revise the leaderboard accordingly. You must forgive him, he is getting old.

Outside of his obsessive hate of Bill McCarthy, I can vouch for HCFC45's character.

Outside of his obsessive hate of Bill McCarthy, I can vouch for HCFC45's character. Everyone knows that I am not a fan of BM, but hate is way too strong! Met him last year when he came over before a game. Shook hands and had a nice conversation with him! A lot of it has to with the HC - Laffy game that you, Tom and I went to at Laffy! If you remember, AB had his nose bloodied, had to sit out for a while and we lost the game. Also, his calling 7 of the 8 fouls against us at Michigan in the first half didn't improve my like for his officiating! !

Outside of his obsessive hate of Bill McCarthy, I can vouch for HCFC45's character. Does chivalry count as a character point? On cold nights at Hart, Mrs 45 has to warm up the car so it's nice and toasty by the time HCFC45 heads out

Also, his calling 7 of the 8 fouls against us at Michigan in the first half didn't improve my like for his officiating! ! As I mentioned to you at the Bucknell game, from a distance, your pal McCarthy looks like he could be identical twins with a good friend and local cop we knew in Ohio. Nicest guy you'd ever meet and went on to become a police lieut. and retired before he had a chance to become police chief. Anyway, when I had my courtside seats, McCarthy tried to chat it up with me pre-game (a Larry David "meet & greet"?) but I resisted knowing you were in the stands behind me and would never talk to me again. He did say something like "you must be the V.I.P.s" which certainly applies to 81 but not me as I can't afford the $3,000 per seat that you think it costs to sit there. I do believe in order to sit in those seats it is by invitation only - and they will never invite me again.
