Just checked seems that the most outstanding player of the 47 NCAA championships for the big underdog champs and two time consensus All American should be so honored 5 year pro career As a coach at CW Post he had a 195-123 record, inc 2 NCAA appearances and one regional final Should have been done when he was alive. he should at least be in the college basketball Hall of Fame.

Short answer: He wasn't inducted
Seriously though, as much as we love him, I don't think those are Hall of Fame numbers. I can't think of too many male players who are in the Hall for college accomplishments without a stellar pro career. If you're looking for a college star with a short but decent pro career, I would send Togo to the Hall before Kaftan. In terms of sending him as a coach, once again nice numbers, but not Dean Smith or Jim Calhoun. He had some fine accomplishments, but I don't think he's the best of the best

Did not know you had to be indicted. George had a more distinguished college career than Togo, who does not belong. as said, George at least belongs in the college hall.
