For those who enjoy hearing about BC basketball players abandoning the sinking ship in Chestnut Hill, comes the news on the Northwestern sports board that former four-star recruit A.J. Turner is leaving the Eagles to join the Wildcats. The story reads in part: "Turner played 30.8 minutes per game for Boston College last season, averaging 8.4 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. Turner played in all of Boston College’s 32 games last season, but the team went 9-23 and finished last in the ACC. He shot a solid 37.4 percent from three and had an impressive 112.3 offensive rating according to Ken Pomeroy’s rating system."
