Whomever they play, this lis like it will be a ling season for the caets. That being the case, they might as well take on some of the big boys to get ready for PL play.

. 1. You probably won't want to watch their home opener either, with the Black Knights hosting Mt. St. Mary College of Newburgh, which is a weak D3. 2. Interesting that Army theoretically is in the Maui Invitational but won't get within 2500 miles of Hawaii. I had never focused on this tournament before, but there are eight teams (7 big names plus Chaminade) who get to play three games in Maui - the games we traditionally see on ESPN. And then there is a second group who get to say they are in the tournament but only play at one big-name school and then a couple of mid-major games in the States. In this case, Army can say that they hosted part of the Maui Invitational - but unfortunately in likely 25 degree weather and howling winds at West Point. Probably will not see a lot of surfers outside. Opponents are Chattanooga, Central Arkansas and/or a TBD who may turn out to be a D2/D3.

Is this the tournament where Chamnade once beat Georgetown? Yes. . But their biggest win was over #1 Virginia who featured Ralph Sampson at center.

So Chaminade isn't ACTUALLY in Maui. The school is in Honolulu and they just host the tournament in Maui each year?
