Marv Albert just offered an excellent comparison of Giannis A.with all time great Connie Hawkins. For the few who saw the Hawk in High School and the ABA, it is very accurate. The Hawk was past his prime when he was finally allowed to play in the NBA

Read Foul years ago It was terrific—and sad. The Hawk had his best years stolen from him.

Yes, at Rucker Park in Harlem. He was a bit past his prime. A freak athlete who out jumped everyone on the court inc some NBA players. And guys 5-6 inches taller. And he was very strong.about 6’4”. Herman Knowings
