I know this may be a sacrilege for Celtic fans, but in reading Bill Walton's autobiography(a fine read) he mentioned Larry Bird, when his team was down more than two at the end of a game, getting an offensive rebound and dribbling out to the three point line, to nail a three. i do remember seeing him do this. vision of Rob C.

The Bird shot at about 3:35 into this highlight reel - Larry does have a bit more time than Rob to set his feet, but higher degree of difficulty turning to his left as he goes up for the shot.

Although I never thought I took his greatness for granted back in the day, every time I watch these clips I realize that to a certain extent I did. He was unbelievable.

Reminds me of Pistol Pete in some ways.
