Welcome, Kyle! That said, are we trying to corner the market on and go forward with only 6-4 shooting guards!?!?

Almost all these recruits are wings--playing the 2 or the 3 We will play the better rebounder at the 3 Defensively, we will have versatility in the 1-3-1

The article from January 2016 said he was a senior. Is that an error? Has he graduated from HS?
do we have any stats to add perspective to the highlight reel?

Welcome to Holy Cross Kyle! Wishing you 4 great years to come and many PLC's and NC2A appearances! Coach Carmody and his crew are rockin' and rollin'!!! Have never seen so many verbals in such a short period! Have to believe that these recruits want to be a part of something special and have high regards for Coach Carmody and his staff! Somebody wake up NAD and tell him the news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, KY, you can put away the "3 point red light", we won't be needing it for the foreseeable future! Bombs Away!!!

From a Hoop Group blurb this summer:
Copeland has always played well in Hoop Group events, whether it was last year’s Elite Session Two or one of the many tournaments he’s played with District Basketball Club. At 6’4”, Copeland has good size and is a smooth athlete that allows him to finish above the rim in transition and guard some of the best players in camp. He’s a two guard that can shoot it, but he’s also a willing and capable passer with good vision and feel in transition.

One way of looking at the 2017-2018 Roster . . . Assumes Strzala's out of the picture
PG. Green, Benzan, Ziggy (CG) SG. LeSann, Copeland, Butler W. Cohen, Charles, Perkins F. Niego, Floyd C. Stevens
Lots of versatility and positional exchanges possible that can create some match-up problems for opponents, something Carmody clearly values - KC's can play anywhere from 2-5 (in a pinch) . All the bombers offset, even enhance, JF's somewhat limited offensive game by stretching the floor. Have to wonder, too, if MP's injury is an ongoing concern and thus the extra 2/3.

"That was pretty big for us [winning a regional title]," Copeland said, "but we're not finished. We need that national title." He's talking about an architectural competition. Love that Holy Cross gets kids like this

WG, has there been a recent development with MP, or are you referring to the 3 surgeries he's had over the last couple of years? He is such the mystery man on the roster.

Not aware of any new developments with Marcellis' health , thinking he may still not be 100% recovered from older injuries.

As you indicate about his versatility, just as he did in the Pl playoffs, I see Karl probably playing most of his minutes at the 4, if not this season( depending upon MH's effectiveness) then in 2017-18 This may be the reason that we did not emphasize another big in recruiting for this class.,
