Dado would know better than me but I think stress fractures typically result from lots of running with inadequate downtime in between for the body to recover. And being a giant.

And being a giant. bingo, 92. trainers of elite athletes these days recognize this and prioritize rest and avoid repetition like the plague. tom brady's routine has become the model, even for some younger athletes when they are in good hands. although at marial's size, probably some genetic predisposition, and the nature of elite high school basketball these days playing throughout the season, even the best supervision can make such injuries unavoidable. i would say marial's future is in question. will we see you and your booming voice at the comcast center again in a few months?
