Some years ago, a couple of HC kids started an organization that has students doing service projects throughout the city. It has grown well outside the HC community and has hundreds of volunteers every year for it's big service day.
HC football is giving two free tickets for the UNH game to anyone that volunteered on it's build day last year. I'm not sure how many extra fannies in the seat will be produced, but still a nice promotion with no real cost or downside

That's nice, but if $ is keeping kids from attending games please HC let kids/students in at no cost

Games were free when I was a student--aren't they still free? We paid for basketball games and I believe they are free now.

No HC student pays to attend an HC home game that I'm aware of.

That's nice, but if $ is keeping kids from attending games please HC let kids/students in at no cost Of the 800 or so volunteers that worked the event this year, maybe half were current HC students. Those are both very rough figures, but there were plenty of non-HC students who would have to pay if they wanted to go to this game without the promotion
