Saturday against UNH, Holy Cross had an online special "Worcester Day" with general admission tickets $5 each. For Yale's opening home game they are doing the same, calling it "Community Day." The promo code on the Yale website is "Community" and if you have the tickets held at will call or (I assume) print them at home or keep them on your phone there are no taxes or service charges so two tickets are just $10. That's a far cry from all the fees charged by stub hub and the other ticket outlets.
With 60,000+ seats, you should be able to find a good one with GA tickets.

Just bought my three for $ 15 total.... Hope we can squeeze in with only 60,000 seats !!

Hope there is no problem will be with the portal guards at the Yale Bowl. Two years ago, I had tickets for Portal 1. Friends had tickets for portal 27, which is on the same side, east visitors reserved. The guards would not let them enter with us in portal 1, even though the tickets had already been validate just inside the gates. If you think RSIG is bad, you have yet to experience the portal guards at the Yale Bowl. Absolutely unbelievable lack of flexibility on their part. Hope they have changed since our trip in 2017. With 60,000 seats, and probably with less than a quarter filled, you would think they would have been gracious and happy to see us. Not that crew. Wonder if anyone else had the same experience with the portal guards? Also be aware of their clear bag policy. athletics.ticketing.yale.edu/Online/default.asp?BOparam::WScontent::loadArticle::permalink=clearbag&BOparam::WScontent::loadArticle::context_id=yalebulldogs.com/news/2019/9/9/yale-football-gameday-101.aspxThe Visitors lot is Lot A, next to the Connecticut Tennis Center. If things have not changed from 2017, the HC football team will be using the locker room in the Tennis Center before and after the game.

The Yale portal guards have been taking their jobs too seriously for many years. Just go to your assigned portal for entry and then sit wherever you want. Will save some frustration.

The "title" portal guard sounds like someone who should be wearing sandals and carrying a sword.

The Yale portal guards have been taking their jobs too seriously for many years. Just go to your assigned portal for entry and then sit wherever you want. Will save some frustration. In 2017, they wouldn't let anyone with General Admission tix sit between the 35s which they rope off. Even though its the same wooden church pew around the whole stadium, they charge more to sit in the middle of the field.

How is Yale charging more for better squats any different than any other team in any sport?

Princeton holds "Community and Staff" this Saturday. One can get free tickets (up to 6) to see the Tigers battle the Butler Bulldogs at 5:00. Will be interesting to see what kind of crowd turns out.

It is conceivable to earn more from parking, refreshments and sale of hats, tee-shirts etc., from a crowd of 15,000 with nine thousand free admissions (minus six thousand season tickets and premium seating) than a crowd of 9,000 paid attendees plus their concession purchases.
