Jehyve on the move, he was released fro the German team he signed with and was picked up by a team in Greece...The Facebook post says he was released due to a visa problem..... Sometimes the true meaning gets lost in translation, he may have been traded.....
Floyd in Larissa
"Larissa OEM announces the acquisition of Floyd Floyd.
The American athlete, signed with our team and comes directly to Larissa from Germany. He is a graduate of Holy Cross, recording impressive stats, 12,9 points, 6,1 assist and 2,4 block per match, having become a better defender of his region.
An impressive athlete who will "blow" our team's racket and is expected to offer a spectacle to our fans.
The player had signed a contract with the German lountisbmpournk, but reasons for the visa release released him and the people of our team moved quickly and secured "ok".
We welcome him to our team and wish him health and many successes."

Greece and Germany are both within the Schengen visa zone. I would think Floyd would need/have a D-type visa. www.schengenvisainfo.com/schengen-visa-types/Does Germany have stricter limits on D-type visas than Greece? Don't know.

Sounds a bit strange. Lots of Americans have played in Germany, including a number from Bucknell, and I've never heard of any of them having visa problems. The owners of the various Euro teams usually have the connections and the knowledge to quickly get the paperwork done.

Contracts get sold all the time in Europe, and players usually only play one season with a team and then sign with a different team....It is a lot different than the US pro leagues...

Could this be a current political response from Germany to the US ? Definitely not.

In the warmer months, I'd much prefer being in Greece. Better food, too.

Not sure about Germany specifically, but many of the Euro Leagues do have limits on the number of players from the US and other countries....

Don't use the word 'sold'. Could be viewed as a slavery reference.
The term 'owner' is egregious enough.

Try the veal. Order Weiner Schnitzel. It's just like a VC with red sauce from the Miss Worcester Diner except without the bun and red sauce and it's actually veal.
