pretty good quality highlights of the 1966 Dartmouth season, inc game 2, the HC 7-6 win in a constant downpour to end their nation leading win streak. Glenn Grieco and Jack Lentz were the respective Defensive and offensive players of the game with Jack winning the Johnny Turco award Glenn’s play included one of his patented bull rushes to hit the QB as the QB was handing the ball off to cause a key fumble. This was the first win in a 6-3-1 season.

Narrated by longtime Sox radio/TV announcer Ned Martin.
Can't imagine that many people attending any game in that rain/weather today.
I was looking at an old Dartmouth program fairly recently....it was eye-opening how widespread their radio coverage was then. They had stations all over New England broadcasting their weekly games.

Narrated by longtime Sox radio/TV announcer Ned Martin. Can't imagine that many people attending any game in that rain/weather today. There was a fairly large senior class turnout. We were tougher then.

Love the Wing-T/Wishbone. I think it's time to steer away from all the modern trends and bring back the past.
Air Raid/RPO works with certain personnel, but shouldn't be the default. Coaches have gone too far in one extreme and the pendulum is bound to swing back in the other direction sooner rather than later.

Was 12-31 That is what you get from a Red Sox announcer.

Our senior alumni are indeed lucky to have been part of that exciting experience, something younger alumni would certainly enjoy as well.

Any video of the '69 Dartmouth game? Would nice to see half the '69 season in one video clip.

Found these gems on a quick search of YouTube. Essentially the full games in multiple parts. Enjoy
Holy Cross vs. BC 1977 - from Fitton Field. Part 2 goes dark with about 7 minutes left in the game - but with HC comfortably ahead
Holy Cross vs. BC 1978 - From Alumni Field - In 3 parts, portions of which don't have the sound, but the sound is back for the very exciting finish
