MIA:
First the unexplained disappearance of Assistant Coach Parks, now HC player Jenay Faulkner? Can any one shed light on this observation?

What do you mean unexplained disappearance of Jenay?
She was not at the Sacred Heart game yesterday, but note, she has had injuries over the last couple of years that prohibited her from playing and there were games last year and earlier this year that she missed. Since she knew she could not play yesterday, maybe she was excused, so that she could prepare for exams and finals this week.
There are times, that I am sure that Richard Syrett is posting on Crossports. ððĪðĪŠ

Has Ms. Parks, by the way, reappeared, or is her picture still on milk cartons?

Still missing at least not on the bench at SHU game, but there is probably a logical explanation of family medical leave or sick leave or short term disability that does not require a conspiracy theory to explain. Maybe she can't attend games but is breaking down film and preparing scouting reports from home.
If she is listed as a coach on the web site but isn't at games she is on some type of leave of absence and it must be an approved leave or she wouldn't still be listed as a coach, I would think.
It's not a concern for me especially since I am an advocate for BB teams of 13-15 students to have one fewer employee assigned to them than the current complement of five full timers. At least until the national crisis of college affordability subsides or mid major basketball starts showing a profit. In other words, never.
I hope Jenay rests, rehabs and returns because at a sturdy 5'11" with good guard skills she will be very valuable during the PL regular season, tournament and national post season.
I hope Ms. Parks is doing well also.

LongSuffering, glad to see you picked up on the Richard Syrett reference.ð
With a week off until the next game, hoping that several players currently injured are on track to participate in the PL season.

Someone mentioned something like that a couple weeks ago, but it was only in one place and she still appeared on the main roster page.
But now, gone completely!

I think Breezy mentioned she was no longer listed on the Athletic directory & I checked the roster. Just another Holy Cross mystery, never to be solved.

I hope the next three words the campus police officer who is guarding the locked down O'Kane Hall hears aren't "You've been served".
Hopefully all issues were resolved and a season off with pay satisfied all claims. I hope DP is able to move on and have a long successful career.

The fact that the rest of the interim coaching staff is still listed combined with the fact that someone had to make an effort and remove only her. tells me at the very least that her status is different than the rest of the coaching staff

Good chance her replacement does not qualify as a critical hire under the current freeze.
The guy with the huge coffee mug in the Dilbert comic strip has a more critical position than third assistant coach for a low mid major BB team that also has a full time DBO.

They would never hire an assistant coach without a head coach in place.
Then again, it IS Holy Cross and strange things seem to happen up on Mt. St. James.

Well, if they hire someone with Wally's work ethic, they're in big trouble.

On the other hand, Wally could find a way to make a 3 win season look good.
