This one is a virtual tossup. Massey makes Army a 1 point favorite (73-72) with a 52% chance for the win.
The Cadets are currently 5-10. They have wins over Merchant Marine, FDU, Marist (OT), NJIT, and Buffalo. They have lost to Villanova, Binghamton, Air Force, LIU (Brooklyn), Merrimack, Wagner, Bucknell, Colgate, American, and Boston U.

Some random data: Army is being out rebounded by 2.5 per game (getting 36 per game) Holy Cross is being out rebounded 2.0 per game (getting 34 per game)
Army is giving up over 19 turnovers/game to only 12 by opponents. HC is giving up 15 turnovers/game to 12 by opponents.
Suggestion - on Wednesday, GET the ball (off the boards) and KEEP the ball. That and the home court can bring HC its second PL win.

I hope HC has the gall to win and keep the ball. I am truly developing a love/hate relationship with spell check...mostly hate.

We are playing Army tonight, right? Looks like Lowder is gone and won't be playing (is there an advantage for him to not play out the season and then transfer?). Anyways, it would be sweeter than sweet for us to beat Army w/o him and I think we can do it.

Classes start next week. If he's going to play beyond this weekend, he has to enroll. By transferring now, he'll be eligible to play (and help a new team) a semester earlier (Jan. 2021 vs. Nov 2021) than if he waits until the end of the season or semester.

Actually even earlier than that. He will be eligible to play once first semester ends at his new school. So he could be on the court for a new team by December 15, 2021. The downside to a midyear transfer, of course, is that a player ends up in total only playing a bit over three years. Lowder has played just over half a season this year and presumably he will play just over a half season next year. Then he will have two full seasons left.

I looked this up recently based on a different thread, As I understand it, you need to sit out a year at your new school. That means the only way he's playing 2nd semester next season if he enrolls in that school right now. If he starts a new school is the fall, I don't think he'll be playing basketball until the fall of 2021 even if he sits out this spring

Depends on the issues. But to be assured of being eligible around December 15h 2020, he needs to get enrolled at his new school in the next couple of weeks at the latest.
