Keegan Shackford - a lefty K/P from Virginia posted a tweet that he had a virtual visit with HC today. Offers from Campbell and Fordham. Lehigh showing interest as well. Serious question. Do virtual visits, assuming interaction with the coaches, constitute an official visit? No. Electronic communication only does not make the prospect a "recruited" athlete under NCAA rules. Any personal i nteraction, ie home visit, face to face conversation etc.does consitute recruiting.

Big game for Pesansky tomorrow night. Opponent is ranked #4 in Florida. Here’s a preview:
Tampa Jesuit (13-0) at American Heritage (9-2), 7:30 p.m. Looking at this game from afar, it might seem like American Heritage has a sheer talent advantage. Jesuit has only one player ranked among the top 200 seniors or top 120 juniors, according to 247Sports’ rankings: three-star junior offensive lineman Trequan Alexander. The Patriots, on the other hand, are loaded with highly rated prospects, especially on defense. But Jesuit has had an incredible season regardless, beating several good teams. If the Patriots’ offense keeps clicking like it has the past two weeks, their defense should do more than enough to pick up a win. Jesuit won’t make it easy, though. American Heritage 32, Jesuit 17.

Jesuit led 13-3 at the half. Pesansky a 25 yard touchdown pass, the other TD was a punt return. Heritage's defense was the difference, as Heritage had five turnovers, and Jesuit unable to capitalize. Heritage won on a last second FG. Haven't found individual stats.

Other offers ? Size ? Please TE/DE Weight - 230 Height - 6’4 Bench - 315 40yd - 4.85 Derry, NH Other offers URI, Wagner, Merrimack. With those size numbers, including a decent 40 time, you wonder why no more offers?

Numbers are self-reported. I wondered that perhaps his high school was small, but it has over 3,100 students, by far the largest in the state. Maxpreps indicates he transferred or is doing a PG year at Tilton Academy this year. May have played only two games, lost a third by double forfeit, whatever that means.

IIRC, Irish Nationalists and Catholics and know it as Derry. The Unionists, Brits and Protestants call it Londonderry.

In any regard, pretty sure Joe Segreti went to Pinkerton Academy, which appears to be in Derry.
Speaking of Derry, the show Derry Girls is fantastic. Hope there's a third season. And it's about Northern Ireland, not New Hampshire.

BTW, in 1984 the city and county in Ireland were "officially" named Derry, trying to avoid more ongoing disputes.

Londonderry is a town, population 25,000, in NH, between Derry and Manchester. Derry was split off long ago. Manchester was originally known as Derryfield. Original settlers were from Londonderry, county Ulster.

Ulster, I believe, is the "province" --bigger than a county. Londonderry City is in Londonderry County, one of 9 counties in Ulster. 6 of those 9 counties are claimed by the UK while 3 are in the Republic.

Learned something new as I thought those numbers were reversed - 6 in "Ireland" and 3 in "Northern Ireland."

Looks like we are a full 90 on the current rostered, with 18 seniors. I also noticed that Frosh DB Martin Laham is no longer on the roster.
