Last year he had a 6.18 ERA. and opponents batted .316 against him-this year we see the 0.98 ERA and opponents are batting .268. I'm thinking his control is greatly improved: 5 wild pitches and 3 hit batters in 36 innings last year and none of either to date this year. He had 19 walks last year and 6 so far this year in half as many innings.
He has given up 5 unearned runs this year--not sure what to make of that.

Keough just can't pitch. 37 pitches. Has walked 10 batters in 4 innings pitched this year. Bombed vs SC, bombed vs Old Dominion and bombed for three more runs today. Why we keep giving him the start I don't know?
down 4-3 in the bottom of the third - hey, let's not criticize the coaches with their pitching decisions - we lost a lot of pitching from last year's team including one who did not graduate but transferred to Pitt (McKennitt) - also Noah Luckenbough who was 3-1 last year as a soph did not return to the team - these things happen when it's not a schollie program - the coach is using these early season games to see if he can piece together a staff. Ease up.
