Bucknell fell behind by 17 and almost caught up losing only by 3, while Colgate put the hammer down, couldn't miss, and ended up winning easily. Maybe it is prophetic in a way that the 1 and 3 seeds meet in the final on the court that has 13 in the paint at both ends of the court! ! Since rgs318 and hcnation have already PM'd their picks, WorcesterGray has posted his also. 1...hcnation 70 - 28 2...rgs318 69 - 29 3...CHC8485 68 - 30 4…KY Crusader 65 – 33 bigfan 65 - 33 6…Crucis#1 64 – 34 hc80 64 – 34 8…alum 61 - 37 9…lou 60 – 38 ACTP 60 – 38 11…efg72 55 – 43 12…classof83 50 – 48 Tom 50 – 48 14…longsuffering 61 - 35 15…WorcesterGray 68 - 25 16…hc6774 61 – 32 17…Crosser 54 – 39 18…HCFC45 53 – 38 19…sader1970 49 – 41 20…DiMarz 48 – 25 21...hcpride 50 – 22 22…thecrossisback 30 – 32 23…purplepig 34 – 26 24…mm67 29 – 11 25…Jflare 18 – 17 26…thecrossisback2 13 – 12 27…SOV 14 – 6 28…hc811215 9 – 6 29…Sarasota 2 - 0 Wednesday, March 11, 2020

Colgate-- I wanted to pick Boston U but Colgate has been so formidable of late, shooting about 58% eff fg pctg (would be top 5 in D-1 for the year) over the past three games. Rayman has been outstanding and even Ivanauskas has played well. Colgate beat BU by 9 in NY and 16 in MA in the regular season.

I would really like to go with Boston University because they an instate rival, but Colgate in their last few games has shown some real fire power! They are putting together complete games! Offense, Defense, Rebounding, etc. In the semis against Lafayette, their 3 point shooting was amazing! I know they beat Boston University twice and it is always tough to beat a team 3 times, but pretty sure they do it. ! If they don't ACTP will look like a real genius! ! Colgate

Re: “tough to beat a team three times” may hold true starting at the beginning of the season. However I’d bet the the team that has won the first two games more often than not wins the third.

As it turns out the 1-3 pairing on the court with a 13 in the paint on both ends turns out to be bad luck for Colgate!
