Would Dvorak be eligible for a medical redshirt?

I doubt anyone who wants another year of spring sports eligibility won't get one. You might even see the transfer waiting period waived; maybe not for good but for the next year or two.

Probably won't help Holy Cross but it will certainly benefit our athletes who will look to continue their athletic careers while obtaining a graduate degree.

I hope they eventually find ways to benefit from this loss...and stay healthy.

Working this out may be a nightmare for those responsible, but I like that spring athletes will have this option extended to them if they wish to use it.

One thing I’m still confused by. Weren’t our spring sports effectively cancelled when we closed down the school for the rest of the semester?

One thing I’m still confused by. Weren’t our spring sports effectively cancelled when we closed down the school for the rest of the semester? I think accommodations were being made to have the student athletes live together on campus. My guess is this was a major factor in the PL, and other conferences, cancelling play. The living conditions were probably deemed more risky than the sports themselves

My son is a high school pitcher in CT and was very excited for pitchers and catchers to start tomorrow. Season postponed at a minimum and likely to be cancelled if I had to guess. I know there are much bigger problems in the world but it stinks for all the kids impacted, particularly the seniors.
