Okay, lets take a look at football. Yes, we won the Patriot League (Go Cross!), but the Patriot League is the worst conference in all of FCS. I have no doubt that HC would win against Tufts or UChicago, but I really don't believe we are in a different stratosphere than some of the top D3 schools. Basketball - no comment here. Obviously needs some work to be competitive with the top D3 teams Hockey - no real frame of reference. I don't follow hockey much.

One objective source, Sagarin, has the PL ranked #9 of 14 FCS conferences. Why make such a silly statement when the facts are arrayed against you? Just to be clear, the PL is clearly not the worst FCS conference. Two below the PL, for example, are the Northeast Conference and the Pioneer Conference. There are 13 FCS conferences and last year the PL was (at the end of the season) rated as #11 by Massey.
