Unless Holy Cross offers only on-line courses in the spring semester, Louth will be able to come to campus in January. The academic calendar January term. Jan 4-25. On-campus. On-campus Spring semester classes begin February 1. Seven day Easter break, but traveling is strongly discouraged. No spring break. Commencement is May 28 On-campus Summer session 1 begins May 24, and concludes July 2. Summer session 2 begins July 6 and ends August 13. Summer session courses are, for many apparently, covered by the spring semester tuition. Anyone know what a January term is.

The January term courses as I understand it are intense, in-person courses. Some may be lab courses. Students may not take more than one course in the January term.

The January term is a specialized session primarily for students who have to be on campus to do lab work, theater classes, and the like. Louth cannot enroll for the January session because it doesn't confer the "full-time student" status he needs - the spring semester will do that. The January classes are also quite long (3 hours in many cases), so they don't really work for student-athletes and their demanding daily schedules of practices, work-outs etc.

If true, this means that Louth will be eligible for only 6 games plus possible playoffs, starting Feb 1

And burn a year of eligibility? Makes no sense He's got 4 left whether he plays in 2020-21 or not, doesn't he? Whether he uses the fifth year at Holy Cross is another topic for another day.

If there will be a January term with on campus courses starting on January 4th, couldn't Louth take one of the courses and start practicing with the hoop team?

Looks like HC is the fourth school to offer. BU, McNeese State and Central Conn are the others. Based on this offer, it would appear we have a schollie to give to the class of ‘22.

Campbell is from my home town of Portland, Maine. He went to the Waynefleet School which competes against some smaller high schools, so I would guess that 6-9 Campbell is now benefitting from facing tougher competition.

Based on that video from when he was younger, Mr. Campbell's "dedication to fitness" appears to be paying off. Looked like more of a football player than a basketball player.

Zaire Williams is a 6-2 SG from Brooklyn (Eagle Academy). Preceding offers from Coastal Carolina, Hofstra, Manhattan - and picked up one today from Missouri.

It would seem to me that with one available scholarship another guard is the last thing we need.

I believe we know Zaire’s coaches. Also the Gauchos are one of the best grass roots programs in the NYC area.
In these days of massive transfers, you never know the needs of the immediate or certainly longer range future.

Williams off the board to Wagner. Disappointing if we are losing recruits to Wagner, particularly when those recruits are coached by HC alums. But, in this particular case, he may have looked at the roster and decided it was a little too crowded at the Inn.
