I wonder if these head coach contracts have an act of God clause allowing the University to do that? In answer to your question, I don't think this is the end of UConn football but if they are smart they won't let the pandemic go to waste and instead use it as the reason to right size to FCS.

Not when you built a 50 million dollar on campus football facility (it is even has a full football field in it) and the only tenant for a stadium in Hartford... Those are a dime a dozen in FBS. In FCS, they’d be able to claim the second nicest practice facility in the northeast.
