The games are listed on the ESPN site. Of course, that site also said that the first game was currently underway.

What happened? Why are we always close mouthed? No official word but going out on a limb and saying Covid had something to do with it. Or Northeastern was scared.

HC test results. !2/19, 6 tests, one student positive. No test results for 12/20. Today, 61 test results, all negative. It would seem that if a HC women's hockey player tested positive on 12/19 and team was placed in quarantine immediately, the postponements wouldn't have been dragged out. Also, if they had tested the entire women's team on 12/18, that number would be a lot higher than six tests.

Whenever something else has happened this year (berard missing a game, lachapelle missing a game, games being postponed or canceled) there has been at least some hint of a reason in HC release. No reason offered for these games. Leads one to believe it was not HC's news to share this time...

Northeastern had 34 positive tests between 12/17 and 12/19. Guessing one of those had something to do with their women’s hockey team. Or at least some of the team were a close contact with one or more of those.
