Lehigh up next weekend - at Holy Cross. The Saturday and Sunday games will each tip off at 2:00pm. Lehigh is currently 1-5. They lost to Bucknell (77-61) today. The Mountainhawks opened their season with a win over Lafayette (90-89) but have lost the next five against Lafayette (70-82), Navy (61-69), Navy (58-73) and Bucknell (70-75) and (61-77).
Massey sees this game as a tossup, picking HC (73-72) based on home court.

KenPom gives us a 45% chance in each game. It was not that high earlier in the season

Fenton did not. Also Alamudun was benched 1:30 into the second half and never played again. He had a poor game, and Meeks scored on him at will. Jeameril Wilson took his spot. No idea who Brett Reed will run out there this weekend, and he probably doesn't either.

The North certainly seems to be the most challenging Division with 2 of the top 3 teams.

The North certainly seems to be the most challenging Division with 2 of the top 3 teams. It is such a strange season, however, I think this schedule will lead to a greatly improved team next season! Playing that top group so many times shows our young group how hard they must work to get to the top of the league....This season almost feels like a tour of scrimmages..No crowds, bands not there, just coaches coaching...Bill Belichek was asked what the first home game felt like without fans and he succinctly stated, "Practice."

You have a valid point, but I do not want anyone connected to the team to.be thinking about next season until this season ends This would not be fair to Austin and Matt who have persevered through tumultuous times. Also we have a chance at the playoffs and there is no team that we cannot beat on the right day. If Colgate is the best, we stayed with them for most of 40 minutes yesterday.

It is unfortunate we don't play Navy, Laffy or Loyola - any of those along with Colgate can win the league this year. I guess it is possible for Army to prevail but unlikely.
These teams are, and will remain, a challenge for us unless their current coaches retire or seek a better option.

Lafayette unlikely - unless Jaworski and Stephens come back for a 5th year- which I don't expect to happen.

My statement was more that those teams areahead of the rest of the league because of coaching, but always willing to be corrected

Fran might be a so-so, but he is better than those not named. Year after year he recruits to his style and coaches them to perform-and I am not a laffy fan

Fran might be a so-so, but he is better than those not named. Year after year he recruits to his style and coaches them to perform-and I am not a laffy fan Fran's PL record in the 12 seasons since he had a mostly-scholarship team is 82-114 (.418). He has won one PL title in those 12 years and had one season when he was more than one game over .500. He coaches to his style - which is great outside shooting, good ball movement, little post offense, poor rebounding, and poor defense. Coaches with better PL records during his scholarship tenure include Langel, both Bucknell coaches, Brett Reed, Joe Jones, Mike Brennan, and Milan Brown. Zach Spiker was more succesful than FOH in the latter part of his tenure - once he got his own players on board. DeChellis has also been more successful than FOH over his last six years.

In 26 years, O’Hanlon’s winning percentage is .460 with 3 league championships

In 26 years, O’Hanlon’s winning percentage is .460 with 3 league championships But two of those three championships were in the late 1990's when the league was non-scholarship. Very different environment. See my post above for his much-worse record in the scholarship era.

Not too bad at a D.O.I.N.O. (Division One in Name Only) school.

Not too bad at a D.O.I.N.O. (Division One in Name Only) school. It's bad. LC is no different than other PL schools when it comes to expenditures and academics. Kirby Field House, since its renovations, is at least average by PL standards. And they get better than average community support. His record since he's had scholarships is worse than Milan Brown. Would you have been happy if HC kept Milan Brown for 12 years and he won 41% of his PL games?

Loyola, Navy, Colgate and possibly AWP are better coached. But then again it is an opinion not a fact and after all it is Monday night with not much going on
